Via Rail Canada is offering 50% off 3 of their popular routes, for travelling to the east or west coast of Canada. This deal applies for those of you wishing to travel to or from Toronto or Montréal, or to or from Vancouver, Jasper, Winnipeg, Halifax or Gaspé.

The single fares start at $133.50, depending on where you want to go.
Terms:

Book by November 30, 2010 to take advantage of this amazing offer on travel between October 14 and December 14, 2010 (inclusive) and between January 5 and February 28, 2011 (inclusive).

In addition, if you’re travelling with kids aged 2 to 11, they actually get a 62.5% discount.
If you are doing a bit of travelling and want to take your time and see a bit of the country, Via Rail is a nice option. Or perhaps you’re scared of flying and can only take ground transport…
